Do I need an account?
EcomTools does not require a Daricate login. Your shop profile stores local preferences; it does not connect to Amazon, Shopify or another seller account.
How do I add the video editor?
Open Tools and tap the pencil at the top. You can enable the video editor and other tools there. AI Chat, AI Metadata Remover and Auto Captions are the default selection.
Why does local AI chat not start?
Open AI settings, select a local model and complete its download. The displayed model size is the download size; processing, media and exports need additional free storage. Having the file downloaded and successfully starting the model are separate steps.
Under memory pressure, the app stops the affected work. Before a response begins, it may free resources and retry once. If that does not help, close other memory-intensive apps, free storage and try again. It does not automatically restart a response that has already begun.
What can AI do in the editor?
AI supports a limited set of editing commands using times, clip references or existing transcript passages. It must first pass the device check. Until that succeeds, AI editing remains locked; manual editing is separate.
Select the clip and describe the change clearly. Commands that require understanding the visual content are not supported yet. Review the result in the timeline; you can undo changes.
How do captions and export work?
Auto Captions recognises speech locally from an imported video. Check names, numbers and timings before exporting. Export captions as SRT/ASS files or burn them into a video on iOS.
If an export stops, check free storage and whether the imported source files remain available. Save completed exports through Photos, Files or the share sheet. A project does not replace an independent backup of your media.
Does the metadata remover remove every kind of label?
The tool inspects supported embedded metadata and creates cleaned copies. Technical information may remain necessary for a valid file; some formats require re-encoding.
Visible watermarks, image content and marks embedded in the image signal are different from file metadata. Missing AI tags do not prove human authorship. A report is not a certificate of authenticity.
How do I delete my data?
Use the available delete controls for conversations and supported records. Downloaded models can be removed in AI settings. Removing the shared Qwen model also removes its availability in the editor.
Deleting the app removes its local app files. Exports saved to Photos or Files and device backups must be managed separately. There is no additional Daricate account to delete.
