EcomTools Terms of Service
These terms describe use of EcomTools for iOS from Daricate Developments.
Updated: September 20, 2026
1. Provider and use
The provider is D. Julian Beyer, Daricate Developments, Gerichtsstraße 2, 65185 Wiesbaden, Germany; [email protected]. EcomTools provides local tools for content and e-commerce work. No Daricate account is required.
Use of an app obtained through the App Store is also governed by the applicable Apple terms and statutory rights. Any app price is the one displayed in the App Store. These terms do not create an additional subscription.
2. Your content and rights
You retain your rights in imported media and your own content. Make sure you have the rights and permissions needed for editing, AI processing and publication, including when other people appear in your media.
Do not use metadata removal to misrepresent authorship or origin, or to evade a legally required disclosure. The app does not grant rights to content owned by others.
3. Review AI results and calculations
AI output and transcripts can be incorrect or incomplete. Review copy, figures, captions and editing changes before using or publishing them. Local AI does not independently access your seller accounts and the editor does not currently recognise visual content.
Calculations depend on your inputs and the included assumptions. They do not replace a binding platform statement, tax advice or legal advice. Fees can change. A metadata report does not prove authenticity, authorship or the absence of AI editing.
4. Local models and external services
Local AI requires a supported device, a fully downloaded model and sufficient available memory and storage. Not every instruction is supported; editor AI requires a successful device check.
Model downloads and barcode product lookup use external services. Visits to linked provider websites are governed by those providers’ terms. EcomTools does not provide cloud AI.
5. Saving, export and availability
Keep independent backups of important originals and exports. Projects and media copies use local storage. Cancellation, low memory or an unavailable source file can prevent editing or export.
We may develop features and correct errors. Uninterrupted processing of every format, AI instruction or file is not guaranteed. Mandatory statutory warranty and consumer rights remain unaffected.
6. Liability and statutory rights
We remain fully liable for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. Mandatory statutory liability is unaffected. For a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract.
German law applies insofar as this does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections under the law of their habitual residence. These terms do not limit non-waivable statutory rights.
7. Privacy and help
The privacy policy explains local storage, optional transfers and your rights. Contact us by email with questions or problems.
