2. Data Collection

Derivate does not collect any data. We do not use analytics, tracking, cookies, or any form of data collection. The app operates entirely offline with the exception of one optional feature (see Section 5).

We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, address)
• Device information or identifiers
• Usage statistics or behavior data
• Financial data or portfolio information
• Location data

3. Local Processing

All core functionality of Derivate runs entirely on your device:

• Black-Scholes calculations: All warrant pricing calculations are performed locally using the Black-Scholes model. No data is sent to external servers.
• Scenario analysis: The scenario matrix and all "what-if" calculations happen on your device.
• Portfolio tracking: Your portfolio positions, P&L calculations, and performance data are stored and processed locally.
• Greeks calculation: Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega and all other metrics are computed on-device.
• Watchlist: Your watchlist data is stored locally on your device only.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored exclusively on your device using local storage mechanisms provided by the operating system. This includes:

• Warrant parameters and calculation results
• Portfolio positions and historical data
• Watchlist entries
• App settings and preferences

This data is never synchronized to any cloud service or external server. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.

5. Third-Party Data Transfer

Derivate does not transfer data to third parties. The only external connection the app may make is:

• Optional exchange rate API: If you use the EUR/USD currency conversion feature, the app fetches the current exchange rate from a public API. No personal data or identifiers are sent with this request.

6. Security

Since all data remains on your device and no data is transmitted, the security of your information depends on the security of your device. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping your operating system up to date.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access to your data
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to object

Since we do not collect any data, these rights are inherently fulfilled. All your data is under your full control on your device.
